The Tradex Motor Trade Insurance policy is specially designed for the Mechanical Repairer. It covers the repair of customers vehicles and the driving of own and customers vehicles whilst on the road.  The gross vehicle weight can be increased up to 44 tonnes, and the policy can be extended to include Customer vehicle loan whilst the vehicle is in for repair. The policy can cover Road Risks only or include Business premises and for part or full time occupation.

  • Public Liability - Limit of indemnity £1,000,000 included (assumes no spraying or welding is undertaken) available for Car Dealers, Accessory Fitters and valetors which are non Ltd companies and do not have employees or premises)
  • Commercial Vehicle Cover - up to GVW 3.5 tonnes & vehicle transporter holding up to 2 vehicles
  • Windscreen Cover - for permanently owned vehicles up to an annual limit of £350 with a £75 excess on Comp policies only
